After reading many of the most favourite Dr. Seuss books during the month of February, we finally had our Dr. Seuss party today (but the day after his birthday) since there is no school tomorrow.
One of my students' family members had ordered this super wonderful and beautifully made cakes from a cake decorator in town because yesterday was her birthday. Another parent had also brought in green eggs and ham for our party.
We watched Horton Hears a Who and I had given each student a sparkly pompom with a tiny small pompom on top with the quote "A person's a person, no matter how small". I'm sure some of the students are keeping those "clovers" safe like Horton. :)
