Yesterday, I read the book "Bugs in my Hair" before discussing how lice can develop, ways to stop lice from growing and to avoid spreading lice to others (why Madame tells us to put our toques and mitts in our backpacks). This surrounded the topic of continuing healthy hygienic practices.
The next book "I have a Cold" talks about what it feels to have a cold which we all agree that most of the symptoms and feelings in the book happen to us too. We reviewed the ways to avoid spreading germs and getting over a cold quickly (washing hands for 20 seconds, coughing into the elbow instead of hands, staying home when possible when feeling sick, drinking lots of liquids and getting lots of sleep).
